It got people talking. It won best stripe (whoo o, free tee shirt), & most importantly it made people smile & laugh.
Detailing question. The tape came off fine, but the residue it left is gross. Best way to remove it?

Xenit from Stoner is good for adhesive residue. Denatured alcohol, Goof Off, Acetone. Xenit has oils in it but you’ll likely want to wax after. Definitely if you use any of the solvents.

Is that masking tape? I use gaffer’s tape for my stripes and it doesn’t leave any residue so far:
Not sure it’s available in other colors though.

Not sure if this is a better answer for you or not, but a ( brand new) eraser works well at peeling up tape residue from surfaces. It’s labor intensive though, and if anything gets stuck in it then scratches are very possible.
